Detailed composition. So sunny.
Its nomadic, compact and ergonomic format can be taken anywhere, from Cape Breton to Puerto Escondido.
The Pacha Mama Sun Stick SPF 50+ is a very high protection sunscreen for sensitive areas of the face, from Seventy One.
A comprehensive and water-resistant formula: very high protection filters create a barrier against UVA (34) and UVB (SPF50+), while antioxidant and moisturizing active ingredients protect the skin from the presence of external aggressions and during bathing (wind, salt water, cold).
Ideal for the protection of tattoos and scars thanks to its topical application, its covering effect and its easy and convenient use.
The wand format is also indispensable for winter sports or sports where gloves have to be worn, as its gestures do not touch the hands.
The single-material packaging is also eco-friendly: it is 100% recyclable.
The main active ingredients
Carnauba wax is extracted from the leaves of a palm tree that grows in Brazil: Copernica Cerifera. Its film-forming power will make our sticks highly heat resistant, hard and durable.
Organic castor vegetable oil has attracted our attention with its so-called 'magical' ancestral virtues. It is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, has cleansing and nourishing properties and the sticks are vegan.
Organic shea butter comes from the African tree Butyrospermum Parkii. It is known for its moisturising, restorative and emollient properties. It is particularly rich in oleic and stearic acid.
Finally, jojoba, sunflower and mimosa waxes are 100% natural texturising agents based on a wax complex functionalised with Acticire® MB polyglycerol. They form a soft and smooth film that protects the skin from dehydration and gives a feeling of comfort that lasts all day

This organic filter absorbs a broad spectrum of UVA rays, especially in the longer UVA1 range. It is often used in combination with mineral filters to provide comprehensive UVA protection.
Ethylhexyl salicylate: This organic filter provides effective protection against UVA and UVB rays. Due to its light, non-greasy texture, it is often used in sunscreens.
Synergy between mineral and organic filters:
The combination of mineral and organic filters in this sunscreen formula offers several advantages:
Broad spectrum protection: The combined action of mineral and organic filters provides comprehensive protection against UVA and UVB rays at once.
Gentle and effective: mineral filters provide gentle but effective protection, while organic filters provide additional broad spectrum protection.

FAQ
Are your sunscreens suitable for children? From what age?
All SeventyOne sunscreens can be applied to children's skin from the age of 3, and for the whole family we recommend SPF50+, SeventyOne's very high protection index. "Sun Range Stick has been specially formulated and dermatologically tested to be suitable for the sensitive skin of children under 3 years of age (avoid lips) and for pregnant women. It is strongly recommended to keep young children out of the sun; our advice is to cover them with additional textile protection such as a shirt with UV protection.
How do I remove traces of sunscreen?
SeventyOne brand sunscreens are highly resistant even to water! If you still see traces of white or coloured sunscreens after a shower, you can, for example, use sweet almond oil, cleansing water or our Second Skin oil-balm to remove any sunscreen residue that may remain on your skin with a soft cotton pad.
What is the difference between chemical and mineral filters?
Mineral filters protect against the full spectrum of UV rays by forming a protective layer that acts as a barrier between the sun and your skin. Mineral screens are also known as physical filters because of their covering power. These filters contain zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in addition to nanoparticles. As for chemical filters, they have a protective effect with and on the skin: they penetrate the epidermis and create a filtering layer that absorbs UV rays. They are active and effective 20-30 minutes after application. Not all chemical filters are the same, so they must be chosen in accordance with the principle of clean beauty in order to respect consumers and the environment.
