Mineral Spray Sunscreen SPF50 is a protective sunscreen suitable for the whole family. The zinc oxide-based UV filter instantly protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays with minimal risk of skin irritation. The handy spray makes application quick and easy.
How it works
The zinc oxide-based UV filter puts a protective layer on the skin that reflects the sun's rays. As a result, it immediately and effectively protects against UVA and UVB radiation.
What it contains and what it does not contain
"Naïf Mineral Sunscreen Spray SPF50 does not contain ingredients such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, avobenzone.
Rather, vengti.Vietoj contains zinc oxide: a natural ingredient that puts a protective layer on the skin that reflects the sun's rays.
To ensure the sunscreen's SPF, we've added a "booster" made from bis-ethylhexylhexyl methoxyphenyl triazine.This is a new generation UV filter that doesn't penetrate the skin but stays on the surface of the skin, so it's safe to use on even the most sensitive of skins - and of course, it's not harmful to the planet. How to use

Apply liberally to your body and face before going out in the sun. Re-apply every two hours and after swimming for optimal protection.
UV filter
What about UV filters?
UV filters are generally divided into two categories: mineral and chemical, but we prefer to call them mineral and non-mineral.A mineral UV filter is derived from a natural ingredient and adds a protective layer to the skin, while a non-mineral UV filter is made in a laboratory and penetrates the skin.Most sunscreen brands use non-mineral filters, but these filters have gained a poor reputation in recent years.Some of these lab-made UV filters contain ingredients that have been shown to be harmful to (sensitive) skin or the environment. That is why it is better to avoid the ingredients listed below:
- octinoxate
- octocrylene
- oxybenzone
- avobenzone
- homosalate
- butyl octyl salicylate
But there is good news too, as a new generation of non-mineral UV filters has emerged and studies have shown that they do not harm marine life!
"Naïf believes in good care and protection, but not at the expense of our planet. That's why we add the mineral zinc oxide to all our sunscreens. Zinc oxide puts a protective layer on the skin that reflects the sun's rays and protects against UVA and UVB radiation. It does not penetrate the skin and provides direct protection. However, too much zinc oxide can dry out the skin.
To achieve the required SPF, zinc oxide is usually combined with a booster. Until now, we have been using a natural one, extracted from pongamia seeds, but now we have added a second booster to our modified formula. This booster requires less zinc oxide for maximum protection and minimal chance of irritated skin. The booster is made from a new generation UV filter: bis-ethylhexylhexyl methoxyphenyl triazine. This UV filter does not penetrate the skin, but protects it from the surface, and has been shown in studies to be harmless to marine life. It is one of the safest UV filters!
The UV filter bis-ethylhexyl methoxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine is already used in the Netherlands, but its combination with our mineral zinc oxide filter is unique! By combining a zinc oxide UV filter and a booster, we can provide the highest quality SPF so you and your family can enjoy the sun safely.
