How do PAP+ strips whiten?
Once bonded to the teeth, each strip adheres firmly to the tooth surface and releases the active ingredients of the PAP+ formula into the tooth structure to quickly whiten teeth. To find out more about PAP+, visit Hismile Research.
Do teeth whitening strips cause tooth sensitivity?
Traditional whitening strips use a peroxide-based formula that can cause tooth sensitivity. Hismile PAP+ strips instead use a non-sensitising PAP formula.
How and when should I use PAP+ strips?
Brush your teeth thoroughly before use. Peel off the long strip and apply the adhesive side to the upper teeth. Press the strip firmly and fold it over the back teeth to secure it. Repeat with the short strip on the lower teeth. Allow 30 minutes for the whitening procedure. Remove the strips and rinse your mouth with water. Use the PAP+ strips as often as needed.

Phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid (PAP)
A scientifically proven teeth whitening ingredient that is a safe alternative to peroxide. PAP has no negative side effects during the oxidation of tooth stains, so it effectively whitens without pain or sensitivity.

Glycerol, water, PVP, ethyl cellulose, alcohol, sodium polyacrylate, phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid (PAP), xylitol, potassium citrate, hydroxyapatite, rebaudioside A, menthol, sodium citrate, xanthan gum, VAT/MA copolymer, C12-15 pareth-3.
Each sachet contains two strips for upper and lower teeth. Place the strip firmly on the upper and lower teeth. After 30 minutes, gently remove both strips from your teeth and welcome your whitest and brightest smile.

What is the difference between the VIO405™ teeth whitening kit and the PAP+ strips?
The VIO405 teeth whitening kit contains a higher percentage of PAP, hydroxyapatite and potassium citrate for better results, and includes an LED light activator. PAP+ strips are a clean and convenient whitening solution for whitening your teeth on the go, wherever you are.
How does the PAP+ formula whiten?
PAP+ oxidises stains without releasing harmful molecules called free radicals. It is these radicals that damage the enamel and cause severe sensitivity.
This means that the enamel is not damaged or destroyed during the whitening process, meaning that the outer layers of the tooth remain intact and can continue to protect the nerves, effectively whitening the tooth.
The PAP+ whitening process is designed to treat a wide range of inner and outer tooth stains, and can produce results after just 1 treatment.
How long does it take to see the results of PAP+ strips?
PAP+ strips can whiten your teeth in 30 minutes without residue. You will see whitening results after just one use of the PAP+ strips, and you can keep the remaining strips for future whitening care.
Can Hismile be used with veneers, caps, implants, bridges or bonded teeth?
Veneers, caps, implants, adhesives or bridges are not designed for whitening and require special care by a dentist. The PAP+ whitening formula oxidises stains on natural teeth, but it can help maintain the same shade of surrounding teeth as teeth that have undergone dental treatment.
